Any vacation roundup of mine isn’t complete withou Any vacation roundup of mine isn’t complete without a shout-out to the tastiest bites I got to enjoy - so here is my round-up of everything we ate at Disney that I would gladly order again! 1 - Art Smith Homecoming at Disney Springs — honestly every single thing on the menu is outrageous but make sure to get at least one bite of the best fried chicken ever! Bonus points for the moonshine drinks that come in souvenir water bottles. 2 - California Grill at the Contemporary Resort - this is a three-course price fix menu worth every $$$. Super surprised by the Tofu sushi rolls but the real star was the melt-in your mouth Pork Belly I had that was life-changing 3 - Paolo Prime Notte - I booked this thinking it was a wine tasting with some small bites....but we ended up enjoying an incredible 4 course tasting menu. I am scooping up a reservation for this every time we cruise from now end, and now know to eat a much smaller dinner on the first night. 4 - Disney Treasure Best Bites - The eggs benedict from Marceline Market each morning; all of the food at Plaza de Coco but in particular these Chorizo Street Croquettes; my daily Salted Carmel Coconut Lattes; and anything from Mikey’s Smokestack BBQ especially if it’s covered in their Carolina BBQ sauce 5 - Magic Kingdom Bites worth the Hype - The Dole Pineapple Upside Down cake from Aloha Isle; the Creme Brulee Croissant from Gaston’s Tavern; everything from the Spring Roll Cart; and the Fried Chicken Sandwich from the Plaza Restaurant 6 - Not Disney related but I cannot leave Buccee’s breakfast biscuit sandwiches off this list! I also discovered their Bacon, Potato & Cheese Tacos this trip and they;re sooo good. Do yourself a favor and also grab a bottle of one of their hot sauces to enjoy with your meal as well. #disneytreasure #disneyfood #DCL #disneycruisefood
The Disney Treasure was an insanely beautiful ship The Disney Treasure was an insanely beautiful ship so I wanted to be sure to share some of the most inspiring design details that I took away from it: 1 - The entire atrium was stunning - particularly the richly colored carpet and the detailed tile mosaics 2 - The carpets on the entire ship were actually all amazing - Disney themed from Aladdin to Finding Nemo with beautiful bold colors 3 - The elevators are always beautiful but the vintage inspired monkey wallpaper and blue tiled floor in this one was my favorite combo 4 - The mix of pattern and trim in the Zootopia Ice Cream parlor along with the beautiful marble tables 5 - Every single thing about the Coco restaurant but in particular the mix of textures and the color palate of the entrance and the Dia de los Muertos themed wreaths 6 - The entire vibe of the Haunted Mansion parlor - I’m borrowing lots of inspiration for a Guest Room update one day 7 - Every single thing about the Jade Crickett Cafe but especially the gold details, pink/blue color palate, and the dragon scale bar 8 - This coroner of the Skipper Society bar - I’m keeping in mind the mix of green + wood and that parrot lamp if I ever am able to get a lakehouse of my own #disneytreasure #vacationdesigninspo #DCL
